Children

The human life cycle begins as soon as life starts to grow. We therefore aim to provide young members of rural and urban population with help – from the prenatal stage to age 18. After all, human development is the process of birth to adulthood, and support is needed throughout. In the earliest stages of a child’s life – even before it is welcomed into the world – we aim to work with partners, grantees, families, and (rural) communities to achieve kindergarten readiness. Once children enter school, ready to learn, we help them prepare for life after graduation. To ensure a successful transition to secondary and postsecondary education as well as lifelong positive outcomes, children and young people should be nurtured. They need to have access to good health services and other facilitating services. The HZF foundation therefore aims to support a broad range of efforts that help them and their families succeed.
